Something that is both fun and new on the social scene, something that will get you riled up and drinking at the same time. Something that is, wait for it drum roll please, BATTLE OF THE BARS!! 5 Star Friday as it is called is a soccer tournament that is going to kick off April 18th and is going to have your favorite 16 bars around Kampala (those that are registered and confirmed that is) battle it out for a grand prize for 8 weeks at the Astro Turf, Lugogo. See, good plot right? Imagine all these bars battling it out on the football pitch not by drinks but with a ball and some skilled soccer players, isn’t that a sight to look forward to? Oh yeah, ladies, soccer players are also hot just in case basketball players were confusing your minds, these ones also have washboard abs.
We have always got your back, we know you were getting all sad on us and bored, prepared to watch Telemundo because FNL- Basketball ended the previous Friday, well now you are all sorted. You can also encourage your favorite bar to sign up and be among the 16 or you can join them, register and play for your favorite bar during the season. Better yet, have the best seat in the house, 5K for ordinary (where all the fun is duh!!) and 30k for VIP, those things, cheer your voice off and have fun with your friends, family etc.
