It is always sad when good things that we are very attached to, come to an end, you stroll through memory lane and visualize all the special moments that have brought you to where you are and smile about it. After two years of a beautiful poetic and musical journey that started out as just an idea, Kwivuga has become a monthly phenomenon since then. Everyone who has attended it starting from the fans, poets,
musicians, attend to enjoy themselves and as much as it breaks our hearts that we will not be having wonderful and quality entertainment as after work Thursday plot, we are going to make sure you say good bye without shading tears but laughing and enjoying it all for the final time.
From all the poets from Jango “The Man Eater,” Jermaine Nada to the artists that have sung, rapped their hearts out for us at Gatto Matto, Kwivuga has been the stage for so many different voices throughout its duration. It is where our very own Ruyonga showed us that even after all these years he was still one of the best Rappers Uganda has.
It introduced to us some other talent that we did not know about, the singers, the poets and even the MCs, who remembers the night Cedric made the ladies swoon even before saying anything or the night Miss Flavia Tumusiime graced us with her hot self. *sigh* Good times.
We just want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for being the best fans in the world, never missing an event, not complaining even if a poet says the same poem year in- year out, we could not have done this without you all and we just want to tell you. “Thou meanest the world to us” and for that we have a fun filled night all ready and set for you all, so bring everyone and let us all have a wonderful night and say good night to our best moments together with a bang (not literally).
Thursday evening at Gatto Matto Bar, bugolobi; come with all your friends and enjoy all your favorite poetry pieces from your favorite Poets and of course ladies, Toniks will be in the house with Santana and KMG’s Foever MC.
